Review highlights
Based on 2,070 reviewsHarlow's Cafe in Tempe is widely appreciated for its delicious, fresh breakfast offerings that skillfully blend American and Southwestern flavors. Customers commonly highlight the generous portions and flavorful dishes such as crispy bacon, chorizo plates, and a variety of muffins. The cafe's brunch experience is noted for a lively and inviting atmosphere, where the ambiance is characterized by friendly chatter rather than disruptive noise. Additionally, patrons compliment the quality of beverages, including mimosas, and the attentive service. While the decor may appear somewhat dated, it does not detract from the overall positive dining experience, which is valued for both taste and welcoming environment.
I loved the food ! It was so delicious! I will come back, and I think the hype makes senseBacon on the blt was extra Krispy and deliciousLoved the mimosa and the special is a great deal
A very much 'Murica breakfast spot that captures southwestern American cuisine perfectly with big portions and Mexican inspired dishes. The drinks aren't bad either.
Great breakfast spot! Don’t let the dated appearance fool you. The waffles were really good! Also, the chorizo plate. We got a few muffin flavors and all of them were really good.
This was our second attempt at finding an establishment that served brunch on Easter Sunday. The first place we left, it was too noisy with music so loud you had to shout to be served. The second place, Harlows, was also loud, but with the delightful sound of people enjoying each other's company! And the food! Amazing! I had the Tiffany omelet and biscuits. Everything was fresh and very tasty! My compliments to the chef! Highly recommend this diner!
Loved it!!!! Food was delicious and service was top notch.
Harlows is A MUST stop to enjoy & experience the restaurant !!!!Jessica D. is an absolute gem of a server ! Polite, kind, patient, & an attentive server. The food was absolutely delicious !!!! I'll be back a few days when my schedule allows !!!!I ordered the Parisian Omelette with sausage gravy on it. The coffee is very good as well.UPDATE:Tried going here Monday morning. They aren't open any longer on Mondays !! Sad, very sad !!I'm back in town (18 April 2025, 10:25) the place BUSY !!Sadie L. was my server. She was good. Food was absolutely delicious again. I ordered the eggs & bacon plate and I added gravy on top. Glad I decided to stop in before flying back East.
After seeing the reviews & the pictures, we knew we had to try it. My husband got the patty melt, I got the pancakes with a side of oatmeal & my daughter got a hash brown & bacon burrito. Their homemade blueberry muffins were hot & fresh & melted in my mouth! The atmosphere felt like home & the staff were super nice & welcoming. The owner was even on the floor helping the waters/waitresses & was really nice. You can tell he was involved in everything. Our family came from Albuquerque, NM for our trip but we'll come back here for sure! Adding it to our favorites!
First time eating here and I really liked it. Good food, large portions.Very friendly atmosphere and great customer service.
